Okay, so the other day I was trying to find something to watch, you know, just flipping through random stuff online. I stumbled upon this thing about volleyball games at the Culinary Institute of America, and I was like, “Wait, what? The cooking school has volleyball?” Turns out, yeah, they do!

I started digging around, trying to find some actual games. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see chefs-in-training spiking a volleyball? It’s a funny idea, right?
My Search Begins
I spent a good chunk of time just Googling different combinations of words. Stuff like “CIA volleyball,” “Culinary Institute volleyball games,” and even adding “Hyde Park” in there, since that’s where the main campus is. I figured there must be something out there, some video or something.
I checked out the school’s official website, looking for anything about sports, clubs, or student activities, but I couldn’t find about it.
Hitting a Wall (and then…)
It was kinda frustrating, I looked at a lot of articles, but I couldn’t find full games, just mentions here and there.
Small Victories
- I did find a few mentions of students talking about playing volleyball for fun.
So, while I didn’t find a full-blown, professionally recorded volleyball game, I did get confirmation that, yeah, these culinary students do play volleyball! It’s just more of a casual, for-fun thing. I guess that makes sense – they’re probably super busy learning how to make amazing food, right? They’re learning!
The whole search was a bit of a wild goose chase, but it was still kinda fun. It’s always interesting to see what you find when you start digging into something random.
