Okay, so I’ve been trying to get a handle on these CIAA college volleyball games. It’s been… interesting, to say the least. Here’s how my little adventure went down.
First Steps: Figuring Out What “CIAA” Even Means
First thing I did was try to understand what I’m even dealing with. I mean, “CIAA”? What’s that? So, I did what anyone would do – I Googled it. Turns out, it stands for Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association. It’s a bunch of colleges, mostly Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), that compete against each other. Okay, that gives me some context.
Finding a Schedule. Oh Boy.
Next I needed to find a schedule, I tried their website, which looked good, it’s been a while for me, I couldn’t find a master schedule anywhere.
Digging Deeper
I was a little confused, I could go to each individual college’s athletic website, look at their volleyball schedule, and see when they’re playing other CIAA teams. I can check those team and to see the match information, which includes the results and a recap.
- Step 1: I needed to select one college.
- Step 2: I went to their website and try to find something call ‘Athletics’.
- Step 3: Then, I can find a volleyball information, and found their schedule.
- Step 4: I can check it to see who’s playing who, and when.
Getting the Results
I follow the schedule I just found out, and I got the results!
