Okay, so last night was epic! I finally got to cross something off my bucket list – watching a BYU volleyball game live. I’ve been following them for a while, and let me tell you, the energy in person is something else.

Getting There
First things first, getting to the Smith Fieldhouse. I decided to drive, parking was a little crazy, found a spot a few blocks away. Next time, maybe I’ll try public transport or something. Lesson learned!
The Atmosphere
Walking into the Fieldhouse, I was immediately hit by this wave of blue and white. Everyone was decked out in BYU gear, the crowd already buzzing. The band started, cheerleaders were awesome, and the whole place felt electric. I grabbed a hot dog and some of those amazing BYU fries.
The Game
- First Set: BYU started a little slow. The other team, I don’t remember the name now, they were pretty good. BYU pulled ahead, but it was close.
- Second Set: Total domination! BYU was on fire. Huge blocks, killer spikes, it was incredible to * crowd was going wild.
- Third Set: This one was a nail-biter. Back and forth, super intense. I was on the edge of my seat. Seriously. BYU finally pulled it out in the end. Everyone went nuts!
The Experience
It was such an awesome environment to witness the game with enthusiatic audiences. I screamed my lungs out along with the ROC (Roar of Cougars) student * players were amazing – so athletic and powerful. Pictures and videos don’t do it justice, I took pictures and videos for memory.
Totally worth the drive and the parking hassle. I’m already planning my next trip back!
