Okay, let’s talk about this Polo Ralph Sport perfume. I saw some ads about it online and thought, “Why not give it a shot?” It’s from Ralph Lauren, and you know, they usually have some decent stuff. I went ahead and ordered it online. I ain’t got time to run to stores, so online shopping’s my thing, especially with that free shipping they offered.
I got the package a few days later, and man, the bottle was huge. 125ml, to be exact. That’s gonna last me a while. First thing I did was to give it a good spray. I noticed some minty and fruity smells right away, maybe mandarin or something. They say it’s got lavender in it too, but that’s not the first thing I smelled.
I started using it for a whole week, every day, just to see how it goes. I sprayed it on in the morning before I headed out. It was pretty strong at first, but it chilled out after a bit. I got a few compliments, mostly from the ladies at work, so that’s a plus. They said I smelled “fresh” and “clean.” Who doesn’t like hearing that, right?
Throughout the day, I’d catch whiffs of it here and there. It wasn’t overpowering, which is good ’cause I hate those colognes that just punch you in the face. This one was more subtle, more chill. It lasted a good part of the day, too. I didn’t feel like I had to reapply it, which was convenient.
- First impression: Strong, minty, fruity.
- After a few hours: More subtle, still there.
- End of the day: Faded, but still noticeable.
After a week, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a solid, everyday kind of scent. It’s not too fancy, not too casual, just right in the middle. You could wear it to work, on a date, or just hanging out. It’s versatile like that.
Would I buy it again?
Yeah, probably. It’s a good size for the price, and it smells good. It’s not my all-time favorite, but it’s definitely up there. It is the kind of smell you would not get tired of and could last all day long. If you’re looking for something new, give this one a try. I do not think you will regret it.
