Recently, I’ve been trying to get into a healthier lifestyle, and a big part of that has been finding an exercise routine that I can stick to. I came across this place called “Sporting Club Portals” and it seemed like a good option to explore, so I decided to give it a shot.

First thing I did was check out what kind of place it was. Turns out, it’s a studio in Portals. I looked around to see if they had any info on their schedule, upcoming events, or any recent updates. Sadly, I didn’t find a whole lot of up-to-date stuff.
Then, I wanted to see what they offered in terms of health resources. You know, how sports clubs can be different in the way they support their members. I guess they’re focused on how young people can benefit from being involved in the club, which is pretty cool, but it didn’t really tell me what I wanted to know for myself. I read about health resources for kids participating in the sports clubs.
I also found some information about measures they implemented because of the virus outbreak. They mentioned something about a “Real Decreto 463/2020” from March 14th, but that’s a bit outdated now. It was about an interruption of the service, so it’s not really relevant to my current experience.
But you know what? I did see that incorporating sports into your routine can really help build a healthier lifestyle. That’s exactly what I’m aiming for!
So, I found their contact info. They seem to be mainly focused on Tennis and Padel, which are both right up my alley, you know, playing tennis or padel is cool, especially in the evening. Their address is Carrer Garcilaso de la Vega, 11, 07181 Portals, Illes Balears.
I also checked to see what people were saying about the place, hoping to get some insights from folks who’ve been there. It looks like you need to create an account to follow friends and see their recommendations. I didn’t get much from this. Also, I can book a court, it seems to be a main service for them.
My Experience So Far
I went ahead and visited the place a couple of times last week. Here’s how it went:
- First visit: I mainly just observed. I watched a few people playing tennis and got a feel for the atmosphere. It seemed pretty chill and friendly. I got some materials from the front desk.
- Second visit: I decided to book a court and play some padel with a friend. The facilities were decent, nothing too fancy but well-maintained. There’s no air conditioning in the court, but there is a big fan. We had a good time, and it was definitely a good workout!
Overall, I’m liking Sporting Club Portals so far. It’s not perfect, but it’s a good place to get some exercise and have some fun. I’m planning to keep going and maybe even try out some tennis lessons if they offer any. I’ll keep you guys updated on how it goes!
