Today I want to talk about something that I’ve been following for a while, and it’s finally happening! Andrew College is getting a football team. This is crazy, right?
I started digging into this when I first heard rumors about it a few months ago. I mean, a new football program? That’s big news for a small college like Andrew. So, I kept my ear to the ground, scouring the internet for any tidbit of information.
First, I checked out the college’s official website, but nothing was mentioned about it at that time. Then, I stumbled upon some local news articles that were talking about the possibility of this happening. It was all very hush-hush, but the excitement was definitely building up.
My Efforts Paid Off!
- I followed the college’s social media accounts religiously.
- I even set up Google Alerts for “Andrew College football.”
- I reached out to a few people I know who are connected to the college.
And then, BAM! The announcement dropped! President Kennedy himself confirmed that Andrew College is indeed launching an intercollegiate football program. I was ecstatic! All that effort paid off, and I was among the first to know.
They’re starting in the fall, which isn’t too far away. I managed to find some schedules, though it’s still early, things can be changed.
From what I gathered, they’ve already played a few games, with some wins under their belt! I mean, wow, they’re really hitting the ground running. They won against SC Central Christian College, Jacksonville AA Christian College, and even Clayton State.
I am so pumped about this new football program. I’ll definitely be following their progress and hopefully attend a game or two. Go Tigers!
This whole thing just goes to show that if you’re passionate about something and you stay persistent, you can achieve anything. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the Andrew College football team’s success!
