Alright, so, the other day I was reading up on this whole “German beach volleyball team” thing, and let me tell you, it turned into quite the rabbit hole.
First, I started poking around to see what the current buzz was about. I found this article mentioning Svenja Mueller and Cinja Tillmann beating France 2-0 at the Paris Summer Olympics. Good for them! That got me thinking, who else is on this team?
Then, I stumbled upon another piece talking about Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler. Apparently, these guys are pretty good, snagging silver at both the Paris 2024 Olympics and the European Championship recently. Okay, Germany’s got some serious talent, I’m starting to see a pattern here.
But it doesn’t stop there. I dug a little deeper and found out that Tillmann and Mueller are actually considered the “new standouts” and were the top-seeded women’s team in some recent tournament. So, they’re not just a flash in the pan, they’re consistently performing at a high level. These two are really coming up.
