Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole Bears draft picks thing for 2025, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride. I’m no expert, just a regular guy who loves football, but I thought I’d share my little adventure here.
First off, I started by just hitting up the usual spots online, trying to get a feel for what the Bears are looking at in terms of draft picks next year. I mean, it’s still early, but you gotta start somewhere, right? From what I gathered, it seems like they’re gonna be picking 10th in the first round. That’s based on how things are going this year, so it could change, but it’s a good starting point.
Then, I got a bit more into it. I saw they’ll also have picks 39 and 41 in the second round and 72 in the third. The rest, well, we’ll have to wait and see what the NFL decides with those compensatory picks. I guess that’s like a bonus round or something, I don’t really understand those very well.
Next, I tried to figure out what all this means for the team. I stumbled upon some mock drafts – those are basically just guesses at this point, but it’s fun to see what people are thinking. It seems like everyone’s talking about beefing up the offensive line to protect Caleb Williams. Makes sense, you gotta keep your quarterback safe, am I right?
I also checked out some names being thrown around as potential picks. One guy that caught my eye is Will Campbell, an offensive tackle from LSU. Apparently, he’s a big deal, and some folks think he might be just what the Bears need.
And then there’s this Nick Scourton from Texas A&M. He’s an edge defender, which I guess is important for getting to the other team’s quarterback? People seem to think he would fit in nicely with what the Bears already have going on.
- Did some basic searching online to figure out draft positions.
- Figured out the first few rounds of picks.
- Looked at some mock drafts for fun.
- Found some player names that might be good for the Bears.
- Checked out a specific edge defender player.
So, that’s where I’m at now. I’m just trying to piece it all together, you know? It’s like putting together a puzzle without all the pieces. I’m definitely gonna keep following this, and maybe I’ll update you guys later on if I find anything interesting. It’s all just speculation for now, but it’s cool to think about what the team might look like next year. I’m not sure I have learned anything new after this research but I would like to keep tracking it and sharing it with you guys. Hopefully, it’s a bit interesting to you too.
I’m not saying I know what the Bears should do, I’m just a fan having some fun with it. But hey, it’s always fun to dream a little, right? And who knows, maybe some of these guesses will actually pan out. We’ll just have to wait and see! I will keep looking at the draft picks for the Bears and sharing my findings with you in the future.
