Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another adventure, and this time it’s all about the 2024 Luminance Football Checklist. I’ve been getting into collecting lately, and when I heard about this set, I just had to dive in. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride!
Getting Started
So, first things first, I started digging around to see what this whole Luminance thing was about. I found out that the 2024 set has some of the first on-card signatures from the new NFL Draft Class. That sounded pretty cool, so I was instantly hooked. I mean, who wouldn’t want a piece of that action?
Finding the Checklist
Next, I needed to get my hands on the actual checklist. I found a few sites talking about it, and one even had a downloadable copy. I grabbed it and started going through it. Let me tell you, it’s packed! There are autographs, memorabilia cards, and a bunch of parallels to chase. This was going to be fun.
Making a Plan
With the checklist in hand, I started planning my approach. I decided to focus on getting a few key autographs from the 2024 Draft Class. I made a list of the players I wanted the most and started looking for the best way to get their cards. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but once I had a plan, it felt much more manageable.
Diving In
Now came the fun part – actually getting the cards! I started hitting up different sources. I found some packs and boxes. It was a total thrill opening each pack, not knowing what I’d find. It felt like Christmas morning every time!
The Chase is On
I started pulling some pretty cool cards. I got a few of the base cards and some of those shiny parallels. The real excitement, though, came when I started landing some autographs. I even managed to snag a memorabilia card! Each time I found a card on my list, it was like a mini victory. I was marking them off my checklist like a man on a mission.
Trading and Collecting
Of course, I ended up with some duplicates, so I started looking into trading. I found some online communities and local groups where people were trading cards. It was awesome meeting other collectors and swapping stories and cards. I even managed to trade for a few cards I needed to complete some subsets. There is a subset of “Illuminated Ink Platinum” that took me a lot of time to get.
Rating the Experience
Throughout this whole process, I’ve been keeping track of what I liked and didn’t like. Some of the sites I visited had a rating system for the sets. I decided to rate this 2024 Luminance set myself. It’s been a blast, so I’d give it a solid thumbs up. I didn’t really get into the rating aspect too much, but it was cool to see what others thought.
Final Thoughts
All in all, diving into the 2024 Luminance Football Checklist has been an amazing experience. I’ve gotten some awesome cards, met some cool people, and had a ton of fun.
