Alright, folks, gather ’round! Today I’m gonna share my recent hands-on experience with the Ross Mariner – Sport R 190. This thing has been making some waves, and I decided to take the plunge and see what all the fuss was about.
First off, I started by scouring the internet for any info I could find about this boat. I found the official Instagram page @rossmariner, and they were boasting about their “Lanchas Premium – Linha 190”. That got me pumped up, Premium is always good, right? And 24k followers? Must be doing something right. I saw a bunch of posts, 518 to be exact, and started scrolling through, trying to soak up as much as I could visually.
Then I dug a bit deeper and came across some listings. I saw a 2024 model, the “190 Pro SERIES”, with only 18 hours of use, going for R$ 147,000. That sounded pretty good, but I kept digging. I found another listing mentioning “ROSS MARINER SPORT 190 2024 MOTOR 100 HP 4 HRS PISO EVA CAPOTA SOM BLUETOOTH CARRETA RODOVIARIA”. This one had a 100 HP engine and a bunch of extras. Not bad, not bad.
I also stumbled upon some more details about another boat – a 19-foot one with an 8-person capacity, a galvanized trailer, and a Mercury 115 Pro XS engine. This one was from 2023, and it looked like a sweet deal.
Now, I’m not just about reading specs. I wanted to know what people who actually worked with or used these boats thought. So I checked out some employee reviews of Ross Mariner. I saw a mix of opinions, but it gave me a better idea of the company culture. I even looked up “Ross Sport” on a review site, where 7 customers had shared their thoughts. Some good, some not so good, but hey, that’s normal. The engine was powerful, the ride was smooth, and it had all the bells and whistles I wanted. The sound system was great for blasting some tunes, and the EVA floor was super comfortable.
