Well, that Tyler Lockett, he’s a football player, I reckon. People like to talk about him and this thing called fantasy football. Lord knows what that all is, but it seems important to some folks.

This Tyler, he plays for that Seattle team. He runs fast and catches the ball. That’s what he does. Now, some folks, they like to play this game, this fantasy football. They pick players, like this Tyler Lockett, and they get points or somethin’ based on how well they do.
I heard he ain’t doin’ too hot this year. Some say he’s the 65th best at his job, and 197th overall. He got some points, they say 67.2, but just 4.5 each game. That don’t sound like a whole lot to me, but what do I know?

- Got 41 yards, whatever that means.
- Didn’t score any touchdowns, though.
Folks say he ain’t doin’ much for their fantasy football teams. He’s got 59.5 points, which is 48th among them wide receiver fellas. Some fella named JJ says he’s good at predictin’ these things. Smart as a whip, I suppose, to figure all this out. And then there’s this FFToday thing, sayin’ they’re good at predictin’ too. Guess it’s a big deal, pickin’ the right players.
Is Tyler Lockett Good or Not?
They say this Tyler, he used to be real good for this fantasy football. But now, not so much. He’s gettin’ older, I guess. They say he’s 32 years old. Still, folks say he might get a lot of chances to catch the ball, but he might not always do somethin’ with it.
Some say he’s good to have on your fantasy football team, but not the best. Like a spare tire, I reckon. Good to have in a pinch. They call him a “WR4”, whatever that is. But it sounds like he might be a good option to cover bye-week for someone else. They say he’s gettin’ a lot of chances, a 20% target share. And a 36.0% air-yard share. Sounds like a lot of numbers to me.
I heard some people sayin’ you gotta pick players for your fantasy football team, like pickin’ apples from a tree. You want the good ones, the ones that ain’t got worms. This Tyler, he might be a little bruised, but he still might be worth somethin’. I don’t know about all that, but that’s what they sayin’.

This whole fantasy football thing is a mystery to me. But I guess it’s like anythin’ else. You gotta do your research. You gotta know what you’re doin’. And you gotta have a little bit of luck, too.
If you think this Tyler Lockett, he’s gonna help you, then you go ahead and keep him. If you don’t think he’s gonna help you, then you get rid of him. It’s your team, I reckon. You do what you think is best.
I guess the main thing is, you gotta know what you’re lookin’ for in this fantasy football. You want a fella who’s gonna get a lot of points, right? This Tyler, he might get you some points. But he might not get you a lot. I’ve heard that he’s got “bye-week fill-in” potential, so he might be useful sometimes. Or he may just be gettin’ old.
