They say the Pelicans is favored by a bunch of points against some teams. Now, I don’t know ’bout all them numbers these city folk like to throw around. But what I do know is that this team got some fight in ’em. They may win a lot or they may lose a lot. It depends on if that Zion boy is playing or not. And if he’s playin’ good, not just playin’.

I don’t know, seems like they should be scorin’ more. They need to figure out how to score more points, is what I say. If they can do that, they’ll win more games for sure. They need a better rhythm. Whatever that means. They just need to play better and win more.
They got this other fella, Murphy. Heard some folks sayin’ he’s gonna be a good player off the bench. Don’t know what that means exactly, but it sounds important. If he can come in and help the team, that’s good. Every team needs good players, even the ones that sit on the bench a lot. He might be the Sixth Man of the Year. I heard someone say that. Don’t know what it means, but it sounds good.
This team, the Pelicans, they got a chance to be good. They got some good players, ‘specially that Zion fella. But they gotta stay healthy, and they gotta score more points. If they can do that, they’ll be a team to watch out for. They might even win a championship someday. You never know. I think they have a good chance to win a lot of games this year. But it ain’t gonna be easy. Nothin’ worth havin’ comes easy, that’s what I always say.
They got a coach named Willie Green. He seems like a good fella. He’s got his work cut out for him, tryin’ to get these boys to play together and win. Coachin’ ain’t easy, especially when you got a bunch of young fellas full of themselves. But he seems to be doin’ alright. I hope he can get them to play better.
