Okay, so today I decided to dive into getting “Spike Volleyball” running on my PC. I’ve heard some buzz about it, and being a huge volleyball fan (even though I’m terrible at it in real life), I figured, why not?

First things first, I launched my go-to game store. Punched in “Spike Volleyball” in the search bar. And * are several relative games!
And then I chose what I want, and, I gotta say,it was not expensive.
Clicked “Buy”.
While it was downloading, I did some quick stretches, you know, to get into the volleyball spirit. Maybe even did a couple of imaginary serves against the wall. Don’t judge.
Once the download was done, I hit that glorious “Install” button. Pretty standard stuff. Waited a couple of minutes, watched the progress bar creep along, the usual deal.
Then, the moment of truth. I double-clicked the game icon, full of hope and maybe a little too much expectation. The intro video started playing and then to adjust settings.

My Settings
- Resolution:1920×1080(have to change from default)
- Graphics Quality: Low(my old computer)
- Audio: I always reduce music volume, because it can destory the game atmosphere.
Then,it’s all good to play the game, jumped straight into a quick match. I fumbled around with the controls for a bit. It’s not super intuitive, but I started to get the hang of bumping, setting, and spiking. My first few spikes went straight into the net, of course,it made me laugh.
But hey, after a few rounds, I actually managed to win a point! Felt like a champion, even though the computer AI was probably set to “baby mode.” I played for a good hour, getting progressively less terrible.
Overall, a fun little distraction. It’s not the most polished game, but it scratched that volleyball itch. If you’re looking for a simple, somewhat goofy volleyball sim, give it a shot. Just don’t expect to become a pro overnight. I’m certainly not one, but I had fun, and that’s all that matters, right?
