Well, let me tell you, that women’s basketball Boston University prediction, it’s a real head-scratcher. I heard some folks talking ’bout it down at the market the other day. They was going on and on about scores and players and all that. Honestly, it’s all Greek to me! But I do like to see the girls doin’ well, bless their hearts.
They say this Boston University, they got some good players. Heard they played against Albany, and folks are saying Albany gonna win, maybe 63 points or somethin’. I don’t know ’bout all that, but I reckon Albany must be pretty good, huh? These games are always on a Tuesday or a Sunday or a Friday. Seems like they play all the time!
- Boston University, them girls play hard.
- Albany, they seem to be the favorites.
- Lots of games in December, that’s for sure.
Then there’s these other teams, Rider Broncs, I think they called ’em. Sounds like a bunch of horses, if you ask me! They ain’t been winning much lately. Playing against Boston University, too. Seems like everyone’s playing Boston University! I just hope them girls don’t get too tired, running up and down that court all the time.
And what’s this about a “schedule” and “roster”? Sounds mighty official. I reckon it’s just a list of when they play and who’s on the team. Back in my day, we just showed up and played! No fancy lists or nothing. These young folks today, they got it so complicated. They even have a thing called basketball prediction, imagine that.
They got all these fancy names for these teams, too. Terriers, Great Danes, Broncs…what happened to just plain old team names? And they play all over the place, too. Boston, Merrimack, UMass Lowell…all these places I barely heard of. It’s a big world out there, I tell ya.
This one fella, Alex something, he’s supposed to be a good player. Shoots good, they say. I don’t know, I reckon shootin’ a ball is shootin’ a ball. Seems simple enough to me. But I guess there’s more to it than that. These folks make a big deal out of it.
Now, I heard somethin’ about somethin’ called RPI and strength of schedule. What in tarnation is that? Sounds like a whole lotta hogwash to me. Just play the game, girls! That’s what I say. No need to get all tangled up in these fancy numbers and whatnot. Boston University basketball is just a game, after all.
They say this Boston University, they got a good team. Five wins, three losses, somethin’ like that. Sounds like they’re doin’ alright. But who knows what’ll happen in the next game? That’s the thing about these games, you never know what’s gonna happen. That’s why they call it a prediction, I reckon.
I saw somethin’ on the TV about these games, too. They got scores and highlights and all that. It’s all so fast, I can barely keep up! These young folks, they’re glued to that TV, watchin’ these games. I prefer a good game of checkers, myself. Much more relaxing.
This women’s basketball, it’s a big deal these days. Lots of folks talkin’ about it. Makes my head spin, all these teams and scores and predictions. I just hope them girls are havin’ fun. That’s the important thing. And stayin’ out of trouble, of course!
- They say Albany scores more points, 68 or so.
- Boston University, they only give up about 60.
- This Alex fella, he scores almost 15 points a game.
I remember when I was a young girl, we used to play basketball in the schoolyard. We didn’t have fancy uniforms or nothin’. Just some old sneakers and a hoop nailed to a tree. We had a lot of fun, though. Didn’t need all this fancy stuff they have nowadays.
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about this Boston University prediction business. It’s all a bit much for me, but I hope them girls do well. And I hope they win, whoever they’re playin’! It don’t really matter who wins, as long as everyone has a good time, that is what I think. These games are just for fun, ain’t they? I sure hope the girls remember that.
These young folks today, they get so wrapped up in winning and losing. Back in my day, we just played for the fun of it. Didn’t matter who won or lost. We were just happy to be out there, runnin’ around and gettin’ some exercise. Maybe these girls should try that sometime. Just play for the fun of it. No predictions, no scores, just a good old-fashioned game of basketball. These college basketball games seem very serious.
Anyway, I’ve got chores that need doing. Chickens don’t feed themselves, you know! You young folks have fun with your basketball games and your predictions. I’ll be here, keepin’ an eye on things. And praying for those girls to stay safe and healthy.
